The Man Who Stayed
A Stepfather's Guide to the Lessons That Last, Even When the Relationship Does Not
You drive to the games. You sit in the waiting rooms. You pay for the braces and enforce the bedtime, and then you hear five words that seem to erase all of it: "You're not my real dad."
Revised and expanded edition of The Unsung Hero. The paperback and hardcover will appear on the same Amazon page once they're released.

About the author
Written by a Marine
The author is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and the father of two daughters. He lost his mother at seventeen and grew up without his father, and that absence became his purpose: to be present for every child in his home.
For seven years he helped raise four children under one roof, his two daughters and two stepchildren. He was there for the games, the hospital visits and the school events. He also lived through the parts no one talks about, and he writes about both with the same honesty.
His first book, The Unsung Hero, has been revised and expanded as The Man Who Stayed. He writes for the men who show up, and for the people who love them.
